Question by lolo: Where/how can I get hold of “Green Tea Moisturizer”?
I’d really like to try the Pro-Activ Green Tea Moisturizer, as the company advertises that it’s non-comedogenic and Anti-inflammatory. The 2nd trait sounds great! It should help my facial redness.
But I don’t want the whole kit, and I especially don’t want to get caught up in one of those Automatic Delivery things!
Thanks for your help, folks!

I saw at Macy’s they have a ProActive vending machine, and also at my local mall there used to be a ProActive kiosk. So there are places you can buy just one product, but they’re not easy to find. Try calling the malls in your area to see if they have a ProActive kiosk.

I have acne prone skin, clogged pores, dry skin, and sensitive skin. I am going to try to use extra virgin olive oil as a facial moisturizer to clear up my skin. I am going to give it 7 days. If my skin breaks out from the oil, I will discontinue the use of the oil. If my skin improves,…
The Truth about Anti-Aging Moisturizer Reviews
You might disagree, but hear me out on this. I have to be honest with you about the information that you get from typical anti-aging moisturizer reviews. If it is advice on what the best anti wrinkle face moisturizer for your skin is, then you would do well to forget that you even saw it. I am going to explain to you why it is that you typically cannot follow the advice that these sources offer you, and then give you a little advice of my own.
Before you click away from this page let me explain to you that I don’t do anti-aging moisturizer reviews, but I do know a little something about what it is that you should look for in a product if you want to be successful in treating your skin. Unlike what you hear from the media sources that are the subject of this article, anything you get from me will be unbiased.
The reason that I mention product bias is because those that conduct said reviews will have a tendency to favor one anti wrinkle face moisturizer, or an entire brand, over all others. The reason for this is simple, and it is something that most people don’t seem to think about when they read the reviewers comments. It is because they are making money for saying the things that they do.

Most of the anti-aging moisturizer reviews that you see in the magazines, or over the internet, are paid for by one of the major cosmetics companies. It may be indirectly, such as through advertising dollars poured into media like television and magazines, or it may be less subtle as through direct sponsorship of a website. Either way the person doing the review is working for this company.
This is why you will never hear the complete set of facts about the anti wrinkle face moisturizer being talked about. You will find out about ingredients that it has that have proven to be safe and effective, and they will make you a lot of promises about what the product will supposedly do. If the product contains chemical agents that have been proven to cause cancer however, it is generally left out.
Since most of the products covered in anti-aging moisturizer reviews come from the major corporations in the industry, it is a pretty safe bet that they do have these chemicals in them. They also may contain agents that cause organ and neurotoxicity. The odds are good that they are in there, because the major cosmetics companies are famous for using these chemicals as a way of cutting costs.
I am not going to tell you what anti wrinkle face moisturizer to buy, but I am going to say that what you need to do is select a product that is 100% all natural. These natural compounds work far more effectively on your skin than do any of the synthetic agents that you will find, and the best thing is that they will not pose a threat to your health.
Anti-aging moisturizer reviews are not where you need to be looking for advice.

Question by Anonymus: Hypoallergenic moisturizer has made my face red. What’s wrong?
I’ve been taking Accutane for almost 4 months now. It’s recently made my skin very dry, so I bought a skin product called: “APAISAC: Emollient and Restructuring Emulsion,” which is an oil-free moisturizer “for skin weakened and dried by dermatological treatments.”
As written on the box, it is a “hypoallergenic” product, but it has made my face red and a little bit itchy.
I wonder if this redness is normal (like a part of the moisturizing process) or if it means that the product is damaging my skin and I should stop using it? And if I should stop using it, then what should I do with my dry skin?
This is the product I’m using: http://www.bailleul-biorga.com/UK/#/dermo-cosmetics/acne/gamme-apaisac/apaisac-emulsion-emolliente

Unfortunately, we can’t believe everything we read on labels or in adverts.
Clearly, the product irritates your skin and you should stop using it.
For very many years, Vaseline has been known to be a very good non-irritating moisturiser. Try that. Also, cocoa butter is probably good for snesitive skin.
