Question by Lena.: Why is it that when I think I’ve chosen the perfect mascara online..?
..there’s always a couple bad reviews on it?
It makes me think twice about the mascara.
Should I just focus on the positive reviews?
Does mascara work differently for people?
By the way, I am having difficulty choosing which mascara.
So far I’ve chosen “Maybelline Pulse Perfection Vibrating Mascara” and “L’oreal Double Extend Beauty Tubes Mascara”.
The L’oreal one was recommended to me on Y! Answers, and the Maybelline one, I saw a girl review it on youtube, and it made her lashes look amazing.
And for both of them, there’s a couple bad reviews. Like flaking, tacky, hard to use, and blah blah blah. 
What should I do?

If the good out weighs the bad buy it! And who knows it could just be another company trying to bring it down(:

All mascaras are all the same.
What’s different is the brush. Have you noticed that some brushes are thicker than others? Well, some mascara wand brushes help give you that ‘full’ effect, some help clump your eyelashes, others help to lengthen & separate your eyelashes.
OMG were exactly like! I always do that and I HATE it when I see bad reviews it totally changes my opinion on it.
Just keep on searching and searching until you find out which one people most likely prefer. Or just ask it on Y!A.
There’s always someone who thinks the mascara isn’t exactly what they expected it to be. That of course depends on what the person wanted from the mascara (like very long lashes, which it didn’t give, but you want them (for example) curly and it’s perfect for that). And, of course, everybody has their own taste. You should just focus on what you think is best, if more than one person says it does exactly what you need the mascara to do, you should buy it! The only one who’s opinion you can always trust to be true (for you) is and will always be your own! Just try some different mascara’s, and eventually you’ll know which one is the best for you!

There will always be products that do not work for some people, no product will ever get perfect reviews. I personally adore the L’oreal beauty tubes one but do not care for any of the “pulse” mascaras. I also love Rimmel Sexy Curves (reg not waterproof). You need to try different things and go from there, there is no way to know for sure what will and will not work for you. I personally buy things that are on sale lol, that way if I hate it I didn’t waste as much money.
