Question by Hanna Marin: What is the best makeup for acne?
I want a really good light-weight foundation. I dont exactly have “acne”, but I have these little bumps all over my cheeks that are teeny tiny but you can definatly feel them if you touch my face. Im afraid they might turn into acne eventually so im trying to get rid of them. I wash my face everyday with Clean&Clear products and they are really helping me. but when I wear foundation, it kind of makes them come back out. I was looking into the Neutrogena Healthy Skin Compact Makeup, but the reviews are terrible. I want to find a good foundation (liquid or compact preferably) that will not make my “acne” appear.

I’ve always used Neutrogena Clean Makeup liquid foundation and a loose powder to set everything. At night to clear up acne (I had the same problem you do) I’d wash with Neutrogena Shine Control cleanser/mask and then dab a little on my zits and sleep with it. My face cleared up totally in about a month.

I find not wearing make-up at all on my spots and whatever really helps clear them up.
Whenever I put foundation/concealer whatever on my spots it makes them show up even more -.-
I suggest mixing in any foundation with a moisturizer cream, like squeeze a very small amount of foundation on your hand then a larger amount(not to much though!) of cream then mix it together and use that! It really helps me,don’t know if it will work for you though! Hope I helped x

I have that exact problem! Little bumps on your face, not super noticeable but you notice them – I know just where you’re coming from. Keep washing your face (:
I know you said liquid or compact, but Bare Minerals really is great for this kind of thing. It is a loose mineral powder that not only hides the bumps but helps them to go away.
Liquid concealer really irritates the bumps on my face so you may want to shy away from that. If you really don’t want loose, though, MAC Studio Fix is supposed to be good. I haven’t tried it myself but I’ve heard lots about it. Here’s a link to that – http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/shaded/158/251/Studio-Fix-Powder-Plus-Foundation/index.tmpl
Hope I was able to help!
No makeup on the acne spots or try using organic makeup, it is somewhat better
