hmm i want to try this…. :/ liquid foundation sucks for me.. but then again im still wearing it..
but saving up bare minerals… i have oily skin and i think bare minerals original is great.. im a teen so i breakout very easily at least for me.,.. and it works great on me! but i want to try matte. bcuz the original didnt cover up somethings very well.,. but o well ill try it
Been using bare minerals for years, no breakouts. Liquid foundations tend to make me break out. I like that bare minerals feels really light – you can’t feel the normal heaviness of other foundations on your face. All their products work great on me EXCEPT their sunblock which does break me out. I do use a different shade as concealer but am looking for concealer that lasts, but at hte same time doesnt make my under-eyes look ‘white’ in photos. Suggestions?

bare minerals made me break out too, im happy im not alone. i was using glominerals before, and i should have stuck with it. i only had a few random pimples, which i am sure id have no matter what foundation i used, and it also has much better coverage.

I have really oily skin too and I notice that i would wash my face in the morning and it would look fresh and clean and then once I put on my Original bare minerals it would look shinyy again. I never realized that the original had shimmer to it. I am going to purchase the matte this week and cant wait to see if it controls the shine. Thanks so much for the video it helped alot.
At 44, I need to be careful with the type of makeup I put on my face. I love love loved the way the original formula “LOOKED” and new right away it was far better than some of the ‘cover girl’ or ‘lorelle’ walmart. But I did notice that over time my face was starting to look “older” or more weathered. I saw this video and bought the Matte formula. Now my skin looks much better, not as weathered, no bumps (wow! I really DID have bumps!), and the end result is better than I expected! THNX!~!!!
@PrettierThanPink1981 The matte gives higher coverage than the msf. It gives you a matte, but natural looking appearance. The msf is good if you dont need too much coverage but i think the matte is better [:
which is better? the msf natural or the bare minerals matte one? i love the finish of mac msf natural but after 3 hrs its gone since i have very oily t zone. is this the same finish as the mac msf natural?
everytime when i use the origina kind of bare minerals, peopl alway compliment my skin look so flawless, they dont say ur make up is pretty, it really does look so natural that it looks like real skin. a bonus is that this product is not harmful for my skin,or atleast not like other products. i am big on protecting and nourishing my skin from any kind of skin problemsl. i love it! the only downside is that when i take picture i look too oil but in real life it is not oily.
I really liked the foundation from Bare Minerals, but I hated the brushes. Mine fell apart within a month of owning them! I washed them and cared for them better than any of my Mac brushes. I called Bare Minerals, and the rep I talked to wasn’t even slightly familiar with Mac when I asked what a good substitute would be! I was so disappointed. Do you have any other suggestions for a brush I can use that doesn’t suck?

I am looking for a new foundation and I am torn between trying the Bare Minerals Matte or the MUFE Matt Velvet +. I have combination skin, dry on my cheeks but oily through my T zone. Especially on my chin! Which would you recommend??

i use the original foundation and have pretty oily skin but im on acutane so i kinda cant break out. haha. but i love bare minerals

The new formula is lighter, dries matte but it doesn’t cover as good as the original. Anyways, I’m happy with it because I have very oil skin!

Thanks Lisa! It is unbelievable how much easier it is! I literally click a button and it is uploaded in 4 minutes! With my camera, I have to set up my tripod, find all my cords, upload it to the computer, blah blah and it takes at least 50 minutes to finally make it on youtube!
I wear concealer underneath definitely! I tried a part of my face without it and I just wasn’t comfortable enough with it!
I’ll consider doing the tutorial! I don’t know if I am brave enough to do a video with no foundation! :/ Haha!
