This is just a basic liquid foundation how to. I have extremely oily skin and I go over how I apply liquid foundation on myself. do u recomend the revlon colorstay for people that has very oily skin too, but also has acne too ?
hey! Love your tutorial! But i still have a problem… My skin is oily AND dry. And my liquid foundation doesn’t stick in some of places like on my nose between my eyes,and just basically around my nose.
I wash my face with water, i moisturize it and the apply make up but on my cheecks foundation looks so amazing and smooth but everytimei get closer to my nose it just doesn’t stick! maybe i rub it in my skin too much and that’s why it comes off? HELP!
ur skin is already flawless before the foundation !!
@hoaa88 i think she looks really pretty as she is, and why would you need plastic sugery to be ulzzang?
@candace202 thanks! glad to hear it works for you! <3 kat
@xohugsandkissesxo hi, no i dont break out when i wear foundation. i dont wear liquid foundation often tho. i usually wear powder foundation, but i dont have a problem with either.
do you clean your foundation brush after each use? that may help with breakouts. i hope that helps! <3 kat
@WhitGam7 thanks. =]
your video is the BEST tutorial that i have seen for oily skin applications of foundations. i put it on my iPod so i can make sure i did it right. i did it for church this morning and not a drop of oil has came through since i have followed your routine. thank you so much.
<3
Does your skin get irritated from foundation? B/c my skin is very oily and tends to breakout wverytime I put foundation on.
@Hoaa88, That’s really rude! I think she looks pretty just the way she is! How would you like it if someone told you that if you lost a few pounds and had a rhinoplasty you’d be fabulous??
Blushing Artisan, you’re makeup was absolutely flawless! thanks for doing this video
I too have ridiculously oily skin, it’s such a hassle! I’ll throw out my regular foundation brush and try the stippling brush.
If you lose weight and do plastic surgery, you would become really pretty I promise you. I can see how you would look like… you look like somewhat korean ulzzang that I know.

So after you apply? powder, sometimes you can see the powder sitting on the skin. Spraying the Fix+ will blend the powder into the face. It gives you a more natural look.
Here is how MAC describes their product:
An aqua-spritz of vitamin and minerals, infused with a calm-the-skin blend of green tea, chamomile, cucumber, topped off with the fresh, natural, energizing scent of Sugi. Adds radiance, finishes makeup. Spray it on. Skin drinks it up!
What exactly does the mac fix+ spray do? How does it help in wot way? Thanks..
@Eviastt I find that it is easier to blend with the stippling brush. The traditional foundation brush (like the MAC 190) will more likely leave streaks if you are not careful and blend it out. I also noticed that using the 187 tends to give me a more airbrush look since the foundation can be applied more sheer and evenly distribute the foundation (but you can also add more layers for more coverage). I hope that answers your question. Thanks for watching! <3 kat
what are the pros of stippling versus just applying it with a normal foundation brush?
@wohnsheur hi there! i’m using the translucent setting powder.
thanks for posting this! simple but helpful!
may i know the what Laura Mercier powder you are using? I am actually looking for one that has good oil-control to set my liquid foundation.
@kytensdream thank you!
your skin looks so good in the camera=]
hehhe thanks so much for taking the time to respond back. i’ll surely go and try it out now!
