Question by daughtereponymous: Why did Moses ask permission from his father-in-law and Jacob did not?
What was G-D showing us here? Did Mose fear his father-in-law? Did Jacob not fear his?
Now Jacob, wanted to leave because he did not want to stay in their presence and risk transgression the commands of his True Master -G-D of Heaven and Earth.

Now Moses, did not fear that this would happen, Moses, knows well his father-in-law is a priest, as well as king in a false god temple. Was it wise, for Moses to stay in his presence? Why did not Mose fear not transgressing the command of his G-D? Exodus 4:1.

Think, and I know you do, thank you all. Now Moses, who was the shepherd of Jethro’s flock lived with him as Jacob with Laban, when he wished to go away first obtained his permission. Why do we see Jacob being so UPRIGHT A MAN, obtain permission form Leban before leaving him?

Now our eyes should be on what Moses did? Or should our eyes be on Jacob the UPRIGHT ?

She is the betrothed of her Beloved G-D, turn and made re-new as the beginning of G-D’S creation. Ecc.1:9. The first shall be the last and the last the first. Nothing changes: what G-D does is not undone by sin. The new thing in the earth in Jeremiah 31:22 is us,after we have obeyed the appointed ordinances of heaven and earth. Ps. 2:7 and Ps.18:15 to 20 and Jer. 33:25-26 and Proverbs 1:8 the Law of our mother and the instructions of our father the G-D of Heaven and earth. Now why are we called the virgin, the wedding feast has not taken place. And we are the woman below and above the man, now made in the mirror image of our G-D of heaven-male &earth-woman. The Spirit of G-D the image of the female.

Now make: note that both father-in-laws played a large role in Moses life and Jacobs. The master or Master is shown in this. Who do we fear? G-D? Family ? Friends? Leaders? (king) Church (priest)?

Moses, asked permission because he feared the arts of the priest a magician and used magical arts. So his master here was the fear that made him bend to this false god priest and king. Looks like nothing but, when Moses called by G-D to lead them out of Egypt they were in slaved, Moses, father-in-law returned and cleaved to Moses, and said today “we” will make a sacrifice and you will get..and it was the pagan priest, that gave the order,and it was the pagan priest who also gave the order for the Israel priest to be , and G-D called them all to be a nation of holy priest.

And note: this before you answer. read Exodus 3:15 and think why was Moses name not their?

Moshe respected his father-in-law and was treated like a person. He asked permission. Jacob ran for his life before the guy who tried 100 times to steal his wages and tricked him into marrying the wrong girl would get another chance.
